If your pool is totally flooded, you can partially drain out the excess water down to halfway up your skimmer box.
You can Shock your pool water as soon as the storm has passed.
Check on your electrical equipment. (Chlorinator, pump, heaters, etc). If any equipment got wet, let it dry out for a minimum of 24 hours before turning it back on. If something was damaged, call us to fix it.
If you lost power during the storm, remember to reset your circuit breakers and pump timer(s) when electricity is restored, taking care to make sure that everything is dry.
If the pump motor has been submerged, it should be removed for professional cleaning and drying.
Return the pool water to its proper level. Empty the pump and skimmer baskets.
Time to get everything out of the water. Pull out any big debris like tree branches.
Brush and vacuum the pool. Brush the walls and floor to get rid of any serious grime.
